Our New Orchard

The children of The Kingfisher School have started their garden with an orchard!  Anna from The Woodland Trust visited, bringing with her a fruit tree for every class.  The children helped Anna to plant the trees in our new garden area.

The original stone from our old school building had been saved and takes pride of place.

And Erikas, above, is very proud of his hard work.  It's a shame that the weather has changed, but the children are pleased the trees are getting a good watering and thriving!  We look forward to seeing the fruits appear and discover some new flavours!
