From September 2014 the government introduced universal infant free school meals for all pupils in Reception, Years 1 and 2. In order for schools to recognise who is eligible for universal meals and who qualifies for free school meals for funding purposes we would encourage all parents to complete an application.

It is important to note that eligibility for Free School Meals is based upon certain criteria and is not the same as Universal Free School meals.
