Dear parents and carers,
We hope that you continue to keep well and safe at home. It has been amazing to see all the learning that is happening: both activities from the school and the other fantastic activities the children are engaged in – well done and thank you!

It is the 75th anniversary of Victory in Europe on the 8th May 2020. At Kingfisher we would like to recognise this by creating as many Union Flags as we can. We would love everyone to get involved. Please could you make a Union Flag, take a photo and send it to info@kingfisherschoolbristol.org, or you can add it to the whole school Union Flag assignment in google classrooms. You can be a creative as you like, e.g. your child could colour in the template provided, create a collage by sticking bits of coloured paper to the template, make it out of material, use natural materials to a representation of the Union Flag.

We will make a digital collage of all the photos received to release on the website and Twitter on Friday 8th of May, so please send in your photos by Thursday 7th May before 10am. We would love the children to feature in the photo but it will be posted on social media so if you do not want your child’s image used in that way, please just send a photo of the flag
